Classic Car Club of America Education Foundation is Rolling!

The CCCA Education Foundation was unvailed to the members in attendance and formally launched at the CCCA Annual Meeting in Detroit. The Mission of the CCCA Education Foundation focuses on the building an endowment for promoting and diceminationg information on Full Classic® cars and the Classic Era for future generations. Here are the highlights from the event.

The CCCA Education Foundation Formally Launched on January 15 at the CCCA Annual Meeting in Detroit.

  • Election of Foundation Board & Officers:
    • Dave Johnson (OH) / President
    • Chris Bock (CA) / Vice President
    • Jim Cowin (OH) / Treasurer
    • Sally Perkins (IN)
    • Steve Babinsky (NJ)
    • Tom Jones (KY)
  • Jay Quail Named as Foundation Executive Director
  • Formal Adoption of {Revised} Foundation bylaws
    • All CCCA members to be automatic members of Foundation
  • Mission Statement Refined: We endeavor to promote educational efforts pertaining to the study, research and dissemination of information related to Full Classic® automobiles for the public at large and to otherwise preserve and advance the legacy of these extraordinary automobiles through publications and programming for the enduring benefit of future generations.
  • Foundation Adopts New Logo & Tri-fold Marketing Pamphlet – incorporating CCCA “car logo”
  • The members of the CCCA Nor-Cal Region have Awarded a $35,000 Unrestricted Grant to Foundation to help initiate its educational and fund raising efforts
