Why do so many people insist on cluttering otherwise elegant, understated cars with ephemerae? You rarely, i almost want to say never, saw driving or foglights on cars in the '30s, early '40s. Just check period photographs, Pittsburgh, NYC, Chicago, Boston, anywhere.

Leave the tack ons to the old Chevy/Ford crowd. Less really is more, especially if the car's got the class to pull it off. Without all the junk, you really see the c a r.
