I know there is a real kinship between 1927-1931 LaSalle and Cadillac's. Here is the question, could a 1929 Cadillac 341 engine and transmission directly bolt into a 1927 LaSalle 303 which is missing the engine? Please share your knowledge.

HELP! Engine has some OLD red on part of it, repainted in black. But I see photos of the engine in green, gray, black and red. WHAT color is correct? Who can verify this?
