alsfarmsMay 25, 2026 Here is my question.
Were the Packard rear axles used on the 6 lug Packards the full floating design or the semi floating design regarding the outer wheel bearings?

I know of no Packard passenger car of any era or series thaat had a "full floating" rear axle bearing arrangement.

Thanks, because of the size and design, I had figured that at least the early large Packard offerings would have been of the full floating design like Locomobile and Pierce-Arrow and other heavyweight American Automobiles.
