it's a possibility, I know American Pontiac station wagons and sedan deliveries used rear Chevy bumpers, and your 1957 Chevy based Pontiac isn't a Chieftain, likely a Pathfinder, Fleetleader, or Laurenthian.

The Canadian Pontiac in all models shared same bumper ,the bumper brackets are Canadian only I see in parts books ,chassis was same as Chevy and a lot of the engines ,the Canadian models were based off the USA chieftain but had shorter front fenders ,diff wheels and hubcaps ,bumpers should be the same but I haven't found you interchange yet .....but compare carefully as Pontiac flip flopped back and forth using Chevy parts and being different to USA models for several decades
