BlueDevilJul 21, 2026 Is a 2. Door Coupe considered a full classic,
Since the Willys-Knight 66A is on the list of Full Classics, that would be for all body styles. Please show us photos of this 2-door coupe as most all 66As that have shown up are the sedans. Thanks!

I was under the understanding that it was only custom bodies were acknowledged.
CCCA Site says
ÔÇ£Series 66, 66A, 66B; Custom bodied only (Considered by application)ÔÇØ

That's exactly the way i would interpret the listing. Only custom-bodied, and must be approved.

The 66 and 66A were larger/longer (126-135 inch WB)
The 66B or 70 series from that era are smaller and the 70 had a smaller engine. Besides custom bodies, the size and platform it was put on might figure into whether car was accepted by the CCCA.

Well, that ought to limit it to about what, one or two cars, if any custom-bodied 66/66As are still extant ...

Bill, if you have a line on the big Willys Knight with a 3 window body don't let the CCCA classification affect you.
Would a Robbins body count as a custom body?

BlueDevilJul 24, 2026 Would a Robbins body count as a custom body?
Not exactly. Robbins provided bodies "in the white" to smaller manufactures. Considered a step above production bodies in quality and perhaps style they are not in the same boat with LeBaron, Dietrich, Rollston, Brunn, Brewster, etc.
Thanks A.J. I havenÔÇÖt heard of them in the same breath as the BÔÇÖs or the others. Hayes is in the middle and Robbins is kind of the junior varsity,
.
my model 66 cabriolet robbins body was accepted by the ccca
I have "re-interpreted the listing: All Series 66, 66A and 66B W-K's are Classic. Anything else with a custom body will be considered with an application.

Would this 2-door coupe be a 5-passenger victoria coupe on the 135" wb? Those are listed with the 135" wb 7-passenger sedan & limousines.
