In the CCCA Directory, only the 1929 Hudson Series L is listed as a Full Classic as a series. However, since your car appears to have a full custom body by a recognized coachbuilder, I would encourage you to apply to the CCCA Classification Committee to have your Hudson accepted. I'm almost positive it will be. Let's see a picture!
I agree. You shouldn't have any problems getting Classic status on this car.
Zeiss (two esses) is still in business making some of the best camera lenses available.
Back in 1975 a 1928 Hudson with a Murphy Town Car body was approved as a Full Classic. With the custom coachwork on your 1927 car it would be nice to see it presented to the Classification Committee. The current Chairman of the Committee is Bob Joynt. An application may be obtained with a phone call to National Headquarters.
