Does an electric fuel pump on a Lincoln V-12 minimize or solve vapor lock issues? and if so, where should the pump be installed to be less conspicious for judging purposes?...Thank you..

The electric pump will minimize starting issues when the carburetor is dry (start the pump before trying to crank the engine). It will probably not help on vapor lock problems. The solution to vapor lock is a vapor return line.

An inline pump in close proximity to the tank will help, and probably eliminate the problem. An underhood installation will not.

A small vane or centrifugal pump will be quiet, and not too noticeable, but will always be visible.
