I wouldn't delete your message. Information like that is exactly what this forum is for. When people post for sale ads for hot rods, new cars, commercial items or cars that are clearly outside of the Classic Era, I either move them to a more appropriate Forum, or I delete it. What happens generally depends on how far off topic the post is.

Most deletions happen in the "For Sale" area, but there usually aren't that many off-topic posts to deal with. Generally speaking, people seem to read and abide by the request at the top of the page.
