'59 or 60 Caddilac
What you saw was an interesting collector car, probably a Cadillac from the late 1950's or early 60's. For better or worse, that isn't a car this club (CCCA) considers to be a Classic, but even we would readilly admit that it is certainly collectable. You can have a lot of fun and enjoyment with a car like it. Some Cadillacs of that era command very handsome prices, especially if they are convertibles.
You might find it interesting to browse through the CCCA web site just to see what kind of cars we are talking about in our Club. Since CCCA doesn't recognize any cars built after 1948, you'll find that ours are quite a bit different than the car you saw. Just click on the Classic Car Club link on the left of this page. While you're visiting the CCCA Web site, be sure to look at our "Links" page, where you will find a link to the Cadillac LaSalle Club. You can find out more about the car you saw on their site. You'll even find some pictures which will help you identify it.
What do you think...guys...how about a big round of "thank you" applause for Chuck...considering what we are paying him for all this aggravation....we are sure getting more than our money's worth.....!
