What other region of the Classic Car Club of America® follows you back to your northern home in order to entertain you throughout the entire year? Correct, this is a rhetorical question, as the answer is an obvious... none. Here is your unique opportunity to join your fellow Southern Florida Region members and guests over hills and through dales, through the heart of the Ohio and Pennsylvania countrysides on an adventure only your little region can provide.

Here’s an opportunity to attend one of the oldest and most successful old car shows on the palatial grounds of the Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. In its 53rd consecutive year, the show is presented in collaboration with the Ohio Region of CCCA with an expected 350 vintage, Classic and antique vehicles in attendance on the seventy acre grounds surrounding the Seiberling Mansion — one of the largest American homes in existence. Stan Hywet, old English for stone quarry and the site’s previous use, was built between 1912 and 1915. F.A. Seiberling, founder of The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, personally oversaw the planning for architecture and landscape. Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens leaves little to the imagination — as it is simply magnificent.

Another stop will be the Frick Art and Historical Center in Pittsburgh. Surrounded by beautiful landscape is a collection of art and memorabilia of the Gilded Age. From the French and Indian War to yesterday, the glory of Pittsburgh history is revealed. As an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institute, expect to spend a few jam-packed hours inspecting artifacts that are not to be found elsewhere.

Where to stay? The Day’s Inn is clean and inviting, but if you desire to immerse yourself in the history of Ohio, reserve your room at the renown Spread Eagle Tavern and Inn. Established in 1837, The Spread Eagle is a beautiful vintage red brick structure infused with Ohio lore and maybe even a ghost or two. Don’t believe it, just ask our tour coordinator to explain.

Yes, this is another Southern Florida Region tour that you will remember for a long time. Consider it a mini CARavan, shorter in duration but crammed with the things you like to do, the places you want to see and the people you enjoy. Join in on an unforgettable tour of Ohio and Pennsylvania.
